A qualified psychotherapist with an integrative approach, I have many years’ experience, working with both individuals and couples. I am based in my private practice in West London and also work as a psychosexual counsellor at King’s College Hospital Sexual Health Centre.

The way people develop as a sexual being is unique to each person. There are many elements in your life which will influence the process from family, friends, partners, culture, and religion to society and life stages. Biological elements are also intertwined. The idea of ‘normality’ in sex is therefore broad and fluid with many varieties of preferences in sexual thoughts, fantasies, sensations and behaviours.

Sexual matters can often get hushed up on one hand, and excessively talked about on the other. As a psychotherapist I offer the opportunity and time for plain, private and non-judgemental talk.

Sex and relationships are also at times mysterious. Mystery can be a source of novelty, excitement, tenderness and pleasure, drawing you closer to it. The same mystery can also become a source of anxiety, confusion, reticence and struggle. This dual aspect may be part of your own sexual experiences and relationships.

I will support you in clarifying what you feel prepared to accept as it is and what you are entitled to change. Working with you and your unique needs, you can carve out the space and time you need to make your progress steadfast and agile, helping you to fully flourish in your sexual relationships with yourself and with your partner(s)

Previously I worked in the corporate world, based in Tokyo as well as London and Edinburgh. My first under-graduate degree qualification was in German Studies.

In addition to English I also work in Japanese.
